Tinubu Matawalle Door to Door, Kano State Chapter
An Independent Volunteer Movement
The Tinubu Matawalle Door to Door Kano State is not an arm of the APC or any registered political party. It is a civic volunteer organization formed by committed citizens who believe in President Bola Ahmed Tinubu's vision for a prosperous Nigeria. The TMD operates independently but works alongside the APC to amplify its reach, deepen grassroots penetration, and provide data-driven support to party activities.
Independence
TMD holds no official party positions. Members may individually belong to APC but the organization itself is a non-partisan volunteer body. This protects it from internal party conflicts.
Grassroots First
The hierarchy begins at the polling unit — the atom of Nigerian democracy. Every ward, LGA, and state decision flows from what agents report on the ground.
Data-Driven
TMD collects real-time political intelligence: voter sentiment, turnout projections, competitor activity. This data is shared with APC leadership to inform campaign strategy.
Rapid Response
Because TMD is flat and decentralized, it can mobilize faster than party structures. Alerts travel from polling unit to state HQ within minutes, not days.
The 4-Level Hierarchy
3 volunteers per polling unit. Resident observers who know every voter by name. They register voters, report issues, and drive turnout on election day.
Supervises all PU agents within a ward. Collates ward-level data, resolves conflicts, and liaises with the LGA coordinator. Supported by 4 deputies.
Manages all wards within the LGA. Attends monthly state briefings. Controls LGA-level mobilization budget. Reports to the State Executive Council.
The apex body. Sets strategy, allocates resources, interfaces with APC state chapter, and manages relationships with federal-level Tinubu campaign structures.
How TMD Strengthens the APC
While remaining legally and structurally independent, the Tinubu Matawalle Door to Door provides six critical capabilities that the APC's formal structure — constrained by bureaucracy, intra-party dynamics, and limited funding — cannot always deliver efficiently.
The Relationship Model
- Volunteer-run
- No party card required
- Self-funded / donations
- Data & intelligence
- Rapid mobilization
- Formal party structure
- INEC-registered
- Candidate selection
- Official campaigns
- Government interface
TMD maintains full independence. It is never a "parallel party" — it is a civic amplifier that multiplies APC's reach without replacing or undermining its structure.
